I have that problem, too, so have been working on (a) controlled scrappy while hoping to graduate to )b) paper bag scrappy.

I LOVE all the quilts shown here!!!

This is a little Single Irish Chain I made for my nice neighbor lady while she was undergoing chemo. It's 30's scraps (feedsacks & modern day reproductions). Nothing fancy but I like it OK.

And yet another one... be careful what you ask for... you just might get it... LOL! I had no idea I'd made so many scrappies! I made this one seriously eons ago (the 90's!) for the ABC Quilts project.

I lied... I forgot about this little Xmas Stars made from a huge box of Xmas prints that I'd had for ages...

Finally, I openned some seams, moved a few things around and now, am very happy with My First Quilt!

The second one started as a few blocks because I wanted to try a Log Cabin (plus I needed something to do with the 'stash' I had acquired to make my FIRST quilt!!). I decided to make a lap quilt...which quickly changed into a twin bed quilt...which grew to fit a queen. And when it got to that point, I decided that I liked it so much that I would love to make it a king size to fit our bed, but could not find any more of the two fabrics that outline each block. (Sigh). And so it remains--Just a Queen!

The Log Cabin that just 'growed and growed'!

Your Log Cabin should be called the Topsy quilt... it just growed! I love it! Actually, love'em all!
