Last but not least, the Scrap X quilt with H blocks for the border! Love both of these patterns and another great way for using up lots of scraps! Hope you enjoyed my scrappies! I love making them!

wow n2scraplvr you are a prolific scrap quilter. great work. i still have my mini orange peel quilt looking at me from the postage square stamp swap we did last year. i love it and it was my first ever mini.

now about those teeny pieces of fabric. how small do you sew them and how do you do it? i must admit i pitch any ones under 1". oops. but anything 1" and up gets used.

I save crumbs that are at least 1/2" and I gather them all together. I just start sewing pairs, then the pairs to other pairs, or I might do it log cabin style until I have a 3" square. I'll take parts and sew to other parts with a slash between them or joining the 2 sections together. A slash is a long skinny piece used to join the crumbs. I'll post a close up for you to see how they are joined together. Pay no attention to color only that it is a different color from what you have.

My latest scrappy project is Ferris Wheel. It's my own pattern and design. I've made 12 wheels so far. Each one will have an appliqued circle in the center and all wheels appliqued on black background.

n2scraplvr: I really enjoyed seeing pictures of all your quilts. They were very well done. I love scrappy quilts and also have this thing about using every little piece. Thanks for sharing. Mary
