    First one is 'corn and beans', Love this one! Second is made from 'leaners and enders'.

    JW, Both your quilts are beautiful! You and I use many of the same colors. I made a Corn and Beans throw for my daughter-in-law about 10 years ago and I've had that star quilt on my Pinterest board for a while (I read her blog.) You did a good job!

    Thanks SandyIn Z4 ... When I started the FWS (the first one), I really did not think I could do it either. Instead of focusing on the whole thing, I decided to just do one block at a time. One or two would be potholders ... three a table runner ... four a topper ... a few more a wall hanging ... a few more again a small quilt ... and so on!! Eventually I was possessed and knew I could do them all and finish the quilt. So YES you can! ... just start with one!

    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I am sooooooo happy to see all the BEAUTIFUL SCRAPPY QUILTS! They are just AWESOME!! I LOVE THEM ALL!! (One day mine will be there!)

    Don't remember if I ever posted a picture of this scrappy before.
    I finished it a few months ago. I used a pattern from one of Bonnie Hunter's book.

    Daffy Daphne. I love your horses. They remind me of a simpler bunch of scrappy blocks I made (can't find pix) using coloring pages animal outlines cut like jigsaw puzzles.

    I contacted Jenny Bowker (The pattern designer/teacher) and she is going to teach a class at Empty Spools in Osilomar, CA in 2014. She currently does not have the pattern (Sparkle) for sale but is considering it after seeing the response to it. Also her book is not ready yet, but she put me on a contact list to be notified when it is. If/when I hear more I will post it for you.
