I would call your second quilt a "crumb" quilt. It is made from the crumbs of other projects, and if it were mine I would frame it as art. Love the juxtaposition of all the colors and blocks.

Just noticed that this third scrappy didn't get posted with the two above, I think it was too big, so reduced the pixels and think it will be okay.

got the idea from might have been pinterest. It wasn't staying square but hope it won't be noticed too much.

PaintMeJudy's post 2986... love your quilts. The second one is what I call a "Make Do" quilt. Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, Or do without. You 'made do' with orphan blocks and ended up with a lovely Make Do quilt that is both pretty and useful.

She said she made it out of her "orphan blocks" (extras) from other quilt projects. So, save your extras while you are quilting and you can do something similar!

Wow, wow, WOW!! I'm sooooo happy I found this thread. All these amazing, beautiful quilts are inspiring me. Especially dorismary2001's strip pieced triangles and the scrappy Dresden plate by misoop. I've been reading thru all the posts for the last 4 days and I'm up to page 203. I might have got further if I hadn't stopped strip piece 56 triangles and dig out all my hdp's. lol
Please keep them coming,,,BEST SHOW EVER!!

Beautiful, Judy! I think you may be the Queen of Scrappy.
PS: looking forward to the next mystery train--I've missed working on your designs!

And is that jellybean fabric in the Strippy also from me (when you won my guessing game for scraps). I think I also spy a Geometric print that's white with brown triangles?
