Scrappy Quilt show - Right Here!! :)
#2981
Without a number reference to a post, no one has any idea which quilt anyone else is referring to.... Please keep in mind you need to give the post # or quote the original post in your reply. Otherwise it's kind of useless. There are so many quilts and posters on this thread.

Connecting Threads is featuring a free pattern each week and today's pattern is called Colonial Indigo. Its a scrappy quilt and easy enough for a beginner. I personally love this pattern and wish I could share it with others. Since I don't know how to post a link, maybe someone here could post a link to it for me? I think its week 5 of 52. Not sure if the link should go here with the scrappies, or maybe under another topic? I know we have a lot of new quilters here and would love to share this pattern for the newbies and for anyone else wanting a pretty, easy scrappy pattern.

Wish I had it here since they are calling for more snow and with the wind chill it's about 6 degrees!

Sash, you must be referring to the denim quilt pic on page 296. I wish that lovely spot was mine but it belongs to my BF's DIL . The beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. It's actually in front of her's sons memory garden and was the perfect spot for the photo. We met and bonded after we each lost a child and she asked me to make a quilt from her sons clothes. I was a bit intimidated since this was back at the beginning of my quilt journey but I'm very pleased with it and learned a lot. She is absolutely thrilled with the result.
Thanks!
Thanks!
