    Default Scrappy Quilt Tops

Spent a few weeks playing with scraps - in January and then in May. Started with a shoebox of 2 1/2" mini charms and one of triangle off cuts - both from totes of scraps from the ladies I quilt with.
My DD is going to (practice) quilt them on her long arm for me then I'll probably donate them somewhere. Might just keep them around to admire first though!

Those are beautiful quilt tops! I love the border fabric on the first one! Nothing beats a scrappy quilt! Please show us after your daughter quilts them

All your quilts are lovely. You have a good eye for color in choosing your border fabrics. Does the block have a name?
I wasn't sure about how you used your triangle cut offs? I was thinking of a single fabric triangle, but it seems yours have 2 colors? Thanks for sharing your photos!

I would be hard pressed to chose a favorite amount the bunch. They are all lovely! I think I'd hang on to them and admire a while too.

The name of the block is Arkansas Crossroads. There are many YouTube videos about how to assemble it and the pattern is a freebee. This is the block that started my obsession with 2.5" squares.

Lovely work, SuzzyQ and I second the comment about your color choice for the borders on #1 and I like the red on #2 also. Yes, yes, would love to see them when quilted too.

They are all beautiful, amazing how one pattern, one color background and a multitude of scraps can make so many beautiful quilts.
