I think tomorrow it is time to take inventory of the blocks and see where I am, size-wise.

Wildyard, praying for your sister. Doing something for someone we love keeps the worries at bay. Soon your love will bundle her up in warmth.

I couldn't sleep last nite so I did a little bit of embellishing on a few squares!

her faith and my love, a strong combination

Native Americans believe that there is great power in one's name, both our names will be on this quilt, I wrapped her name in love

faith = strength, my sister has plenty of both

I've been watching with interest! I love scrappy and this is going to be so great! I have a box of blocks I made this way. I am tempted to get them out and see what I can do with them!
I'll keep watching to see how yours turns out!! It may be just the incentive I need!! :D

Enough blocks for a throw size, which is what I'm after. I am playing with the layout.
At first I liked the one in the second photo here, but now I see that I want to alternate the rows of the larger blocks with rows of the smaller blocks . It looks top heavy the way I have it now.
True, that might help balance our family inherited pear shapes lol, but on it's own it looks ummmmm... uncomfortable. Tomorrow I'll try a new layout.

I think I have enough blocks made
