Default Scrappy quilts sunny lanes in red and blue finished

I finished quilting two of my three sunny lanes quilt tops in the last week. The blue one was stitched in the ditch and the red one was FMQ. The red one took about 1/4 of the time to actually quilt than the blue one, but I love the look of the blue one the best, I think.

My daughter said the red one looks more old fashioned because of the quilting. Overall, I'm pleased with them.

Block taken from quilter's cache. http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SunnyLanesBlock.html

When I get more batting (in the next month, probably), I'll finish my yellow top.

I loved how many scraps I was able to use up on these.

I'd encourage any of you who are at a loss for a pattern to do, to spend time at quilterscache.com It is a wonderful source. I often browse here when I'm looking for inspiration.

Your quilts are beautiful!!! Stitch in the ditch really made the white pop on the blue quilt. I like it best Wonderful way to use up scraps!!

You did a great job on both these beautiful quilts!! Very good use of scraps!! I, too, prefer the blue one but they are both great.

Both quilts are so beautiful! It's a great scrappy pattern--I have it on my list. I loved the yellow one too---I hope I catch your post when you finish it because I want to see it too.
