Your quilt made me think of the song, Somewhere over the Rainbow... 
I like the arrangement of your colors. The scrappy binding looks great,too! Don't you just love finding fabric on your shelf that works perfectly with your project? Great job! I like the long and skinny quilts because you can use them many ways....bed runner, table runner, and as you said, couch cuddler! Thanks for sharing. PS.: I remember seeing the pillow in the background somewhere. It is lovely also.
