    Wow so pretty and cheerful on such a bitter cold day. It was -6 this morning. I love lots of bright colors.

    I just cut (approx 143) squares of 6.5 inch pieces of newspaper and sewed strips of scraps on them. For the piano keys around the edge, I sewed longer strips together then cut them to the size I wanted.

    How are you quilting it? I just finished putting a string quilt together and don't think a meander pattern would look right. You're quilt is beautiful!
