    I should have mentioned at the top of the post that I have you to thank for the Clam Shell Log Cabin pattern. I could not find any patterns for this on line and I searched a long time.     The design wall did come from a fabric store that closed many years ago. Half the store was quilting the other for dressmaking. These boards held bridal lace samples.

    Awesome job ube! The braid, is it made with rectangles that are cut down after they are sewn into place?
