    Judy, You asked whether I coordinated scraps or just grabbed and sewd. The answer is, a little of both. But mostly grab and sew. I try to keep in mind the "rule" that value does the work, but color gets the credit. So I don't worry about colors clashing because to me there are very few colors that I don't like together at least in small doses. But I try not to put too many lights, darks or mediums together. Does that help at all? Thanks for looking. Marie

    Great insight for me. Now I'm going back to work on a scrap quilt that I hope will be half as lovely as yours. Thanks for the reply.
