Scrappy Town
I have been doing the Rainbow Scrap Challenge every month for a few years, making various blocks in the colors designated by the organizer (thanks, Angela!). It's very useful for cleaning out my scrap bins. I've been working on 6" pineapple blocks for two years with the goal of eventually having a bed-sized quilt. That's a long term project, needless to say.
This year, I decided to make "Brick House" blocks with a pattern I found on the Fat Quarter Shop's website. It is very easy, but after a while, I decided I wanted some variety in the quilt. I found various patterns online and in books and combined them with the five Brick House blocks I already had. For the sashing, I used 2" squares from what seems like an endless box of 2" scraps. This was fun - quilted on my Elna with a walking foot.

Rainbows make any thing fun. I went dashing to the website and the color challenge has so much flexibility that anyone can accomplish the challenge. My plate is full at the moment but I will be looking for this challenge come January 2023! Your house quilt is is charming and fun and your creativity is showing.
