    Thank You all. I am really loving working on this one. It's so fun. I will keep you posted. Thanks for all your input. I wasn't sure how it would look all put together scrappy but I just love any quilt anyway so I thought I would give it a go.

    I finished 6 of these blocks on Saturday and they are scrappy too but overall lighter. They are in a 2009 magazine and I will have to look for which one it is. I have wanted to do it for quite awhile and have been cutting 1 1/2 " strips for it. Placement of lighter and darker colors on mine makes it look like a snowflake when the 6 blocks go together. Will have to photograph the one I finished. I am not totally happy with color placement and will be changing that up some on future blocks.
