Default Scrappy Yellow D4P, I think?????

I started with 4 patch blocks and cut them on the diagonal, I guess I didn't think the whole thing through because the square in each block has a corner cut off. Next time I'll look for a real pattern on the net. I made it for our Vet who has done me a big favor. I decided better done than perfect and to give myself a break.

I don't see anything wrong with it, I love it. It's a bright and cheerful quilt and I think you did a great job. Thank you for sharing.

It is a wonderful quilt with a lovely story behind it. Nice quilting too. The disappearing four patch is normally cut vertically and horizontally through the centers, but this is a good idea for a quick quilt. It reminds me of the thousand pyramid type quilts.

By the way, Nice to "see" you mary.

I'm sure all quilt patterns started out by someone winging it when they wanted to try something. Your quilt is very pretty even if it is not the traditional disappearing 4 patch. You've probably started at trend!

Consider cut- off corners a design innovation. Different is not wrong!
