    Great job. I like Cousteau too. My mom made almost 500 of a similar pattern to give to a local charity, so I enjoy the reminder. My animals also claim every new quilt.

    21 years!!!! That wonderful!!!! Meet Moon. I call her my little Ballerina, she walks on her tippey toes! I thought she was mute till I had to take her to the Vet one day! My goodness but what a loud meow!!!!!! I'm happy to know this because I know she'd use her 'voice' when needed! Thank you for your compliments on quilt. Yes my own designe. I cut up panel fabric, added Shadow boxes.

    That's wonderful what your dear Mon did!!!
    I miss my Mom everyday! She taught me how to needlepoint and sew. She said to me, and I've never forgotten it, "If you can read you can cook. If you can sew you'll never be lonely." I find these words so very true for me. Happy Christmas to you and your family!

    Thank you! I did a serch on Google and saw shadow boxes and attic window patterns. It's so easy to do the 3D effect. Just follow my colour strips and on the last two stripes do half triangle in the background fabric. Wah Lah looks like it's floating!!!!!

    That is so realistic looking that the cat probably thinks it can snag a lunch. Very pretty. Is the backing the one of a kind hand dyes? They are awesome.
