What beautiful and inspiring work you do!
If you are at QM on Tuesday the 10th, stop by at Open Sew to say hello. I'll be working on some Bindle Bags with a couple of friends. Would be great to meet you.

Since this quilt is only 42 x 42 in size it wasn't so big that I got discouraged, I didn't work on it daily or push myself to get it done. Nancy told us that she has worked on a quilt tops for several years before finally finishing. It is encouraging to be able to have class every month which kept me motivated. We have a small group and are all working on our own projects with Nancy. She imparts her wisdom, experience and tips to us and its a fun get together. We learned to baste with "ugly" and remove as we go so it's easy to see what has been accomplished or to thread our needle before we stop so we're ready to start again. I also learned that I can't quilt with a thimble, I quilt away from myself and not towards me and I prefer to using traditional Hawaiian finger width rather than mark my whole quilt.
Thank you everyone for looking and your kind comments.
