    Thank you! I don't bind them, I give them back to the group at this stage and they do. It actually lays flatter than it looks, so I don't think it's going to be an issue.

    Thank you! The allover pattern is just a feather variation that I saw on a quilt done by Judi Madsen of Green Fairy Quilts. You can check out her blog or follow her on Instagram. Of course her's looks so much nicer, but I keep trying !!

    Thank you! The border motifs I used are made with a cardboard template that I made of the outline of the butterfly and the dragonfly. Both are in Judi Madsen's book Quilting Wide Open Spaces, (great book that I own) I just reduce or enlarge to the size I need for a given quilt. You can do the same thing with any shapes you find for example in coloring books and I embellish them as I see fit. I like adding little motifs on the kids quilts when I can.
