    Default Second Rug

Indoor/outdoor fabric is the way to go for these rugs! Just finished sewing this rug yesterday and shopping for next rug's fabric today. It's usually 54" wide, so I cut and used 27 strips. I have a few extra strips that I am going to try to make a circular small...countertop something.

Great rug! A couple of hot pads with the leftovers would look nice.

Your fabric choice makes t his one of the prettiest rugs I have see here and there have been a good number of rugs! I am glad too that you shared the fabric with us. It shows just how it turned the fabric into this beautiful rug. Have fun making the accent pieces. I have never made a rug. You make it look like something I may try someday.

That new rug turned out so pretty. I have made rope bowls before & have found that the finished project looks nothing like the beginning fabric. I had what I thought was an ugly fabric once & it turned out to be a pretty rope bowl. Here's a pic of it.
