I love this quilt - it is eye candy in any color I've seen it done. Great Job!

Thanks for all the compliments. It is a very simple quilt, I have made many, like 10-12 probably now.
This is one I have had laser cut by Kate Flynn, John Flynn's daughter.
She cut out 4 for me last time. So nice to just sit down and sew.
16 lights and 16 dark fat quarters, 1.5 yards of the black and you have this top. We have that in our stashes. Easily made into a King with more fats.
I made it so it comes out to be 89X89 inches square. Nice for a queen. All over quilting and it is a great gift for someone.

I am a quilter at heart! I love to piece quilts....I am here at this site because I truely Enjoy this art and want to keep growing in it. Thanks for helping me grow.

    Sue,

Very nice. Have you ever done this in batiks? I have a lot of batik FQs and am looking for a pattern to use them in.

    I have not.
I have seen it done. You need to make sure the lights are reading light.
I wondered how it would be if you used all the same for the lights... that would be my next to do.
