    Default Senior Center Quilt

I teach the Sewing/Quilting class at our Senior Center here in Connecticut. Here's a picture of the quilt the group made... "DAFFODILS" ,they worked on it for weeks. I appliqued the flowers and the leaves on for the finishing touch. I finished the binding today and will bring it to the class on Monday to have all eight ladies sign their names to it and have it hung at the center. They did a great job and should be very proud of themselves! Our city has a big Daffodil Festival every year..so that's the reason for the daffodil motif. Browns on the bottom for the ground...green for the grass...yellows for the flowers...and the blue sky.

It is stunning! I love it and it is certainly a one of a kind quilt, that can never be replicated. Wonderful project to learn on, too.

Excellent. It makes me think of those Scenery quilts that other ladies have made.
