I started using just scraps to make them and got bored with them. I love scrappy, but so sick of looking at the same fabric...so I die cut some batiks up. I like those much better. Just wondering what ones everyone else likes.

Can I vote "both"? I love scrappy, and I love batiks, so I think they'll both look great!

I can't wait to get them both done. I think I will finish the batik one first(gotta love the batiks) :) I have been doing them on my featherweight. I can't believe how nice it sews. I need to use it more often.

I totally prefer the scrappy prints over the batiks. Batiks have their place, but I think Dresden plates call for more color and action. JMHO.

As much as I adore batiks, I have to say I like the scrappy set the best. The reason is because in the batiks you selected the only "lights" are muted tones. When I look at the other set I see "light brights" if you get my drift. How about combining the two in each plate? Nothing wrong with that.

Scraps & Batiks, 2 of my favorite quilty things. Both are lovely, but I do like the Batiks better.

I can never decide on just one! Just like having a chip! You could also add more variety to the mix as well.
