    Default Settee Throw

Hello Quilters! I just finished another QOV top and thought I’d show you because it’s so different. For some reason I keep thinking Desert Storm, fabrics I guess. The free pattern is in Archives of Maywood Studio. I hope the link to the page works. You will have to scroll down a bit but you may find more you like along the way. This picture of pattern is what you will be looking for. I didn’t use their ruler or templates but squared my HST and solid squares at 5.5 inch- mine came out 61.25x80.5 will now go for quilting. I like to hang my quilts in the yard once they are complete for photos. I think this will look good with all the green outside. Thanks for looking and commenting on my other threads. I appreciate your support, especially on QOV.

Toogie....another great finish! You seem to whip these QOV out so fast. Is all this fabric coming from your stash or do you buy for a specific project? Curious minds want to know....LOL

our group is supported through donations of fabrics, supplies and money. Fortunately money donations come mostly from a local company and our leader can then order coordinating fabrics by the bolt. Donation of fabrics and supplies are usually from a deceased. We use those fabrics for our CASA donations since they usually aren’t suited for Quilts of Valor. If I had to personally buy fabrics for QOV I am afraid I would not be able to make as many. I do buy for Casa or use from my stash. I know a lady that someone donates to but she is opposite ends of the states from me. She has been given some lovely fabrics and donates quilts to a children’s home when the child turns 18 and has to move on. They usually don’t have many belongings so she wants them to have a bed quilt.
