    Default Sewing blitz

On Monday we will have 4 friends coming from New England to sunny Florida and while the guys golf the ladies will be working on a mystery quilt. As a reminder of our time together we have made sewing pads for under the sewing machines (and they will protect the table). I bought dish drying pads and added front pockets for the little things every quilter wants close by, it even has a large pocket for either loose threads or their cell phone. I am so looking forward to the fun and laughs we are going to have. Here are some pictures of the sewing pads.

They look great! I may have to do one for myself if I can find a nice matt.

Thanks for the neat idea, DDL gave me one of those dish pads, & DH doesn't care for it. SO I now have a plan for it.
and I love the idea, although there has been other patterns for this in the past... Enjoy your little get together...You'll love the time you share.

What a classy and thoughtful gift. I use one of my dear m-in-law's placemats under the featherweight she gave me but I could add pockets to that quite easily. Enjoy your time together. Sounds like lots of fun.
