Something I did with my scrap blocks that didn't quite work out (some mistakes on the blocks, oops! came in handy for this project tho'). I gave this a a gift for my e-pal quilter in the UK. Good to hang over the arm of your couch or chair while quilting and watching TV. The pouch has some dividers inside for thread, scissors, etc. The top part is the pincushion (which I filled with cat litter-unused, of course), and I sewn a rubberized shelf liner on the underside, so it doesn't slip off the arm of your chair.
I'm sure you all have something like this, and I would like to see some of your ideas, too.

Hi, sorry I didn't take pics inside before I mailed it out. But the idea is like those purse caddies you see advertised; except I made the pocket for the scissors in a V shape.

I love that. And what a great way to use your blocks. I need to make one for myself. Thanks for sharing.
