    I loved your desk so much that I found one that I can refinish and hubby can modify to fit my machine. Here's my new UFO!

    That is a beautiful desk. Mine was painted with an arborite top so I just redid it in a similar color. Yours will be beautiful stained or painted.

    I made my cutting table by using my dog grooming table (showed dogs in past life), putting a 40"x40" plywood top with my cutting boards and raised it by using the corner bed height cones. Now it's just the right size for all my cutting needs.

    That is a good idea. I had the bookcases and had no where else to put them so the cutting table on top works well, my little furry friend sleeps underneath while I sew.
