What a clever idea and I love the fabric you chose for your window, which I'm sure adds lots of natural light to your room when you want it. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. It is a great room to work in. Wait until you see the rest of it. I have much to much to organize and it is all over the place. Dh made me 2 tables that are on commercial wheels, 6 and 8 ft. with butcher block tops that are cutting height. He also made a rolling ironing station that fits under one of the tables. I have 2 armoires that are full and 2 large bookcases that are also chock full of supplies. Once it's all organized, I'll take more photos. I bought the fabric at a local fabric shop that buys left over fabrics from different manufacturers. I bought what was left on the bolt. I have more to make a valance and possibly a couple of machine covers.
