I confiscated DD's bedroom when she went off to college, and now 7 years later, it's time for a re-do! DD is now graduated, married for 4 years and just had a baby girl, so I don't think she's coming back home, LOL. We hauled everything out, repainted a buttery yellow color, pulled the horrendous carpet and installed new laminate flooring. I just moved my cabinet and machine back in today! I am still considering possibilities for configuring the rest of the room, but I pretty much know how I want. Just have to find it in the right dimensions. This is a small room 12 X 12, so I have to make every inch count! Tomorrow I shop for shelving and a new flat screen TV. I hope to be back in the saddle and sewing again by the end of the week.

My main workstation. To the left will be pegboard and behind me a design wall.

A nice size closet for the stash. Also shows the wall color. A creamy yellow.

    My new floors!

It's lovely, but if I were you, I would evict that snake before you try any quilting in there! LOL

LOL, Lacelady! The "snake" is the hose to the central vac. I hate carrying that hose all over the house!

It's coming together nicely. I love the color of the walls. So bright and cheery. Keep us posted.

Very nice. Be sure to put in some holders so that you can put some on display on the walls.

It is nice you can design your own room, yes more pics would be lovely, without the snake too. I have one of those I keep in the closet, it is a lot to drag around. Especially up and down the stairs
