    Default Sewing room redo

My son spent the last two days redoing my sewing room. Started by taking my commercial Singer to the shed. Too large for my small room--especially since I bought my Janome 7700. Bought two tables at IKEA for the sewing machine. One he put castors on to raise it for cutting. the other he cut a hole in the top to fit my 7700 and a shelf below to put the 7700 on in order to recess it. Moved the computer equipment to the wall the Singer 191 had been on. And now, I have the world's best sewing room--for me.

Nice room. Now you are ready to get started. I love the picture with the clothes hanging on the line.

Will you share him for, oh say, a week or two? My sewing rooms (all three!) need reorganizing really bad!!
    He did a good job!

Is it OK to say you have one handsome son?

I like the idea of castors on a table - you can pull it out into your room to work from all sides if needed, mostly when cutting out garments. Think Ill swing on over to Ikea...
