What a compliment! I see so many here that definitely qualify as a studio. Mine is nothing compared to them. But now that you've labeled it I just might have to live up to it.

Hmmm...that could be a lot of fun! lol

YES! But I told myself that I have to have everything cleaned up & in it's proper place. I went thru a lot of the junk I pulled out of the room, but I have some more to do to put the house back in order. I have a project waiting though...

Thanks - that was my late mother's Singer Slant-O-Matic 403 Special. I sewed on that machine all thru jr & sr high. Moved out, got myself a Kenmore & never really liked it. When Mom got sick, I sat down at her machine to do something for her & I was home again! She said that day that I could take the machine if I wanted to. (She was bedridden with terminal cancer). I told her I would wait, but bringing that machine home to my house was a bittersweet bright spot after her passing. I can't sew on it without thinking of her using it for 45+ years.

Nah - hate putting together a garage sale. I called Disabled American Vets & they are doing a pick up tomorrow. A few of the large items are going on Craigs List, and a friend bought a couple of things.

Cowgirl, just a sugestion you could put you a cubical cabinet in there plus a shoe holder cabinet for your fat quarters on top and have tons of storage. Love your room, beautiful windows!!!Take a look at my post in picture section, new sewing room, and see cabinets. They came from Target and Lowes.Your room must be wide because I didnt have room to back my cutting table and sewing table.

Looks like you have a good start and the idea of putting the sewing cabinet back to back to the other chest sounds like a plan - giving you more room to work with - just a thought - you have a beautiful room to work with

I agree with the above. I love being able to glance out the window regularly and the light from the window is the best there is.

You Go Girl! It looks like it will make a great sewing room.
I can't sew in clutter either. My sewing room has to be organized for me to sew.
