Here are a few pictures of my sewing room. Hopefully soon we will get it painted and laminate flooring put in. As you will see my stash is quite small compared with some but it is pretty to look at. My closet is 108" and that is where I keep my stash, ufo's, embroidery blanks etc. stored. There is a single window on the n. side and e. side and a double on the s. side. After we get the flooring in I will move my cabinet where the embroidery machines are to where the ironing board is and will turn my cutting table and long ways. Will have more room then over at my sewing machine.

    What a wonderful work room.
Lots of natural light and open space.
And a closet you could live in!
    Thanks for showing it.
What kind of a table is big boy in?

I love the thread!!! I have many colors, but haven't thought of the best way to keep them all together. Love your thread rack! :-D

Very nice! I just wish I had a room just for quilting. I share the dinning room.

Your sewing area is lovely! Very organized. The cabinet is perfect! Too much stash becomes a burden - especially trying to keep it organized so that you can find what you have. I have mine in bins and what I want is either at the bottom of a bin or in a bin at the bottom of a stack of bins. Looks like you do a bit of embroidery as well. Are you really going to paint your paneling?

    I love your sewing room

several years ago our family room had the dark paneling in it and we painted over it with paint (off white) and sure made the room brighter and we love it

(you don't need to fill in the cracks on the paneling as it gives it texture)

    Congratulations!
