Just think of how wonderful it'll be when it's all finished. Love the windows & the ceiling is fantastic. I'd love an "upstairs" sewing room.

Your room is going to be great when you finish. I love the bead board ceiling. It's amazing the amount of stuff we accumulate isn't it? Windows on two sides...you are going to have great light, and nice views too.

Can't wait to see the end result. ;)

Oh this brings back memories of when my wife and I restored this house 6 years ago........Seems like the more I got into it the more work it turned out to being. But I did find that I had gorgeous hardwood floors under the carpet and padding.

Looks like you have it going your way and under budget is always good no matter what the budget is!!!!

I agree - Life doesn't allow us to fast forward to the completed step like those 30 minute t.v. room makeover shows.

Even with all your hard work and more days than expected, just think of how great it is going to be when you are finished and everything is moved back in and into it's own special space. Think of all the hours of wonderful creative art you are going to do when you get finished with this project. Just keep thinking I am going to have so much fun and in a nice new room, that should make all your hard work well worth it. Keep you motivated as well, good luck, be sure to keep us updated and post the finished beautiful room you will soon have.

Oh, Lord! I know how that goes! "Honey, let's get a new valve for the shower since it is leaking." Turned into two days and cutting out the drywall since the dang thing was hard plumbed and we had to cut the pipes and on and on and on. It is going to be so wonderful when you get done! So happy for ya. And Jealous!

Looking good! I do not envy the thought of having to move everything out, to put it back.

I was lucky enought to be able to start with an empty room after DD moved out, so I painted, ripped out the carpet, installed laminate, and then moved my stuff in!

Now I need more space. DS's closet is mighty inviting!
