I have been playing on my Voyager using muslin. I finally decided that no guts no glory - I needed to quilt on real fabric. So I dug into my stash, and found some busy fabric and quilted it up. I used what I quilted to make a tri-fold sewing kit. I made it three sections about 9 X 12. Two sections have only one zippered compartments - the other one has a small and larger zippered compartments.

I went ahead and filled it. I messed up one day last summer and ruined a large cutting mat - so I cut a small piece off of it and put it into one of the pockets with one of the small Olfas. I was reasonably pleased with the results.

    What pattern ???

I can write down directions for you - It was kind of a fly by the seat of my pants. A gal in my guild had something like it and I liked it. I decided that it would be a fun thing to have.

It will take me a day or so to put it tog but I will be happy to do that for you.

That is a great sewing bag :)
I've been wanting to make something similar to hold all my tools and whatnot for when I do go to sewing group.
I think it looks fantastic and a great way to salvage a funked up matte! Awesome recycling!
