    LOVE it!! That is a great idea. I love lodge look prints and I never thought to do a shadow box like that. Thanks for sharing.

    I wanted to do one as well, and I do love yours more. I like the square blocks better. Can you provide your directions for yours?

    Thanks for your interest. I didn't have a pattern, but I just chose dimensions that I felt were proportional. The size of the focus fabric piece somewhat depends on the scale of the print. Here are the cutting dimensions that I used:

    focus fabric: 7.5" square
    shadow strips: 1.5" wide
    white squares attached to shadow strips: 1.5" x 1.5"
    sashing: 3.5" wide

    I should add that I used long horizontal sashing strips instead of incorporating the horizontal sashing into the construction of the individual blocks as shown on the Missouri Star tutorial.
