Sharing on of my Quilts

I am generally not a fan of packaged specialty cuts, like fq packs, charm packs, and the like, but...
I thought I would add that I made this quilt from a fat quarter pack of batiks that I purchased from Hancocks for half price, add a few extra yards from the batiks they had on the bolt, half price sale, and a couple more from my own stash.
So all in all , the fabric for this quilt cost me about $20. not bad..and no left overs, I used every inch of the fq pack except one piece that just couldnt find a home here...
And I learned that all specialty cuts are not bad.. It was a great way to get inspiration for colors that I might not have picked if starting from scratch.
