    This made my eyes pop open this morning. Stunning!! On the Dresden fan plates, what is the little zigzag line I see?

    Hi Linda, I appliqued the Dresden blades to the background with decorative stitches on my machine - a wavy one for the top and a little cross-stitch one for the quarter-circle at the bottom.

    I wanted to add some lace, but it did not show up well against the white, so I just used the stitches as decoration.
