Love it!! I'm with her when it comes to shoes, can't pass a shoe sale without checking it out. Believe me when I say this, if I could afford it, I'd have every pair of shoes that I've ever tried on. My sister's grandson periodically counts my shoes to see if I added to the stash.

Great looking quilt. I love the 'floating' patterns.

She is going to love it. The quilt looks like it could have been made by my DD who loves, loves, loves shoes; but I did to when I was a lot younger and single.

I just made this same illusion quilt for my new lawyer daughter. I am going to quilt it this weekend (birthday is very soon!). I liked the linear look of the illusion quilt because lawyers tend to think in a linear way. I love the shoe backing. How are you planning on quilting it? I will be doing a lot of straight lines thru the cream background (again that linear thing!). I find it a bit boring, but it is more about the person getting it than the person making it. I'll balance it with making something real wild. I have a harry potter bookcase quilt wandering thru my head!!!!!

What a cute and thoughtful gift. Love the way it looks like little rafts floating in a swimming pool. It turned out so cute. Good job!!
