Got an invite to a neighbor's baby shower - pretty short notice and have plans to go to grandson's Eagle Scout award party - but whipped up a flannel rag quilt and a flannel receiving blanket really quickly - she is a super neighbor, helps out with cat sitting if we go away and she/her dh gave us our cat - whom we love dearly.

Wish I could snap my fingers and whip something up that quick and that nice. Sounds like you have excellent neighbors.

They're fantastic rein!!! I already know the rag quilt will be a hit!! :) Bet this little one won't sleep without his/her rag quilt either!! I just love the receiving blanket!!! It looks so sweet and cozy!!
