I lived in Hawaii for a few years as my husband was stationed there with the US Coast Guard. I was not a quilter then and was offered a chance to learn how to do Hawaiian quilting and turned it down. Now I would give anything to be taught by one of those women. Oh what you don' t understand when you are young. Your piece is gorgeous!!
