Down the road from where I'm staying is a "flea market" shop. I found the following two machines there.

Seeking advice from you "old-girl" collectors. Should I go near either one?

Singer G7561436 (c1910 New Jersey); works but missing belt; another (small front) badly worn; $25 includes cabinet (which is missing its leaf)

White Rotary Ser#41x11163, 1927 - $40 includes decent cabinet; heavy as sin

If you like them and want them, GET THEM. They are nice.

I love the look of the White. I know I got a decorated model, but I like the plainer ones best. Looks like good prices, from what I have seen {which isn't much}.

Related: what if any options do I have for converting either of these to treadle? Thanks.

Singer is a "Redeye"...I paid 52.00 + 20.00 shipping for mine on ebay, no cabinet but case, in excellent working condition...So the asking price is a good one with a cabinet...and belts aren't that expensive...
