    I like your quilt Newbe 0709! I love quilts form old scraps that come from clothes and curtains. Thats how quilting begon.

    I'll show you two quilts. Made of curtains, clothes, sheets. I wanted to make to scrappy blankets for my kids. They also worked on it themselves. Í did like making those blankets and looked for more patterns. I realised them that the blankets were my first quiltingprojects! They are badly made and nothing is matching. The kids like them and are still using them in cold winter nights.

    But, see??? I do not see an ugly quilt!
    What I see is something that is functional, and interesting to look at. When one is not feeling well, lying under a quilt such as these gives me something to look at. I can trace the quilting pattern with my fingers. I can see if I can play matching games ... and, when I am a little child and do not want to take a nap, I do all of that PLUS! try to remember the names of all the colors I like ...
    nope! not ugly ... <wave>

    While not all quilts are BEAUTIFUL - I've yet to see an ugly one - even here! :)

    Wonderful quilts...ALL of them! I'd claim any one of them...especially Maksi's kids' quilts for the very reasons Omak described.
