I like those stars! Did you happen to name it?
That quilt was a collaboration of things that they wanted and the stars wer something i threw in the mix at the last minute when i was looking at it the quilt just needed something else
    "Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me "

Cass Eliott sings that beautifully! Now I'm going to have it stuck in my head all day, lol!

thanks Melanie, it will probably be in my head too, but that's good. I think my day just got better!

thanks, Chris for the info, and glad your back on board.

welcome twopals and Monica, to our quilting family. you'll love it here.

motomom, I may have seen your quilt on other post, will have to go back, when I get time.

Elle, I have seen your bed quilt, and it is a beauty. I love samplers. This is just the kind of quilts I want to be making...well, and a few dozen other things. I don't think I had ever seen your geisha girl w.h. wow, pretty ambitious project, but you did a great job.

Hope I didn't leave anybody out, happy birthday, merry christmas and happy new year...does that cover it, lol?

But I do have a sweet little crib quilt that I made for Ryan when he was born 26 years ago. It is hand-embroidered alphabet squares. I'll look and see if it is in his closet and take a pic of it... when I get out of bed. The laptop and I are snuggled away for the day. My first illness since retiring... sore throat and cough.
I Found it!!!! And it is stained and faded and the embroidery is letting go, the eyelet is in hard shape!

I made it when I was pregnant so hence the pink and eyelet.

"Tuttle" was one of his first words!

Here it is! A much loved quilt! He has left it in his closet because he's afraid he'll lose it if it leaves this house!

Here's mine. It was made in a class at a sewing store. I am guessing about 1979. It was a quilt as you go. This quilt is still used everyday. It's very soft and wearing out. DH loves it

This was my first full sized quilt. I think I have the close up of the squares on CD somewhere. And yes, that's William Shatner. :)

I had a bunch of fans from all over the world send me decorated quilt squares and then I sewed them together for him. I also made a small one for his daughter Lizabeth.

Here's mine......I wanted to do something different from the usual cross stitch samplers that I do when a friend has a baby. Here's the result!
