I took a sampler class and made my first quilt. I had no idea I would love it. I just want to improve on my sewing skills. Now I'm totally addicted.

That looks soooooo cool! Two very simple blocks, I've never seen them together like that, but they look awesome!

OMG-- I think it was to post our "FIRST QUILT" I'm amazed at the talent on here. You're first quilts are beautiful. I hate to even post mine, but I will.

The first quilt I ever did was a wall hanging just to see if I could do it. I was hooked after that and my first 'real' bed quilt was the second project I did. I designed it and made it for our grandson for last Christmas for his new twin bed.

Oh, thanks. It was a great teaching project. I learned so much from just that one quilt. And, like everybody else, I was hopelessly hooked from the get-go.

OMG you ladies are so talented I'm almost embarrased to show mine.....It was a Log Cabin. The top was done in a 2 part class. I didn't know how to sandwich or quilt it, I just took a stab on my own. Hand quilted stitch in the ditch and no binding.
