Ube quilting - I love your orange block!
Kwiltkrazy - I saw the appliqued pumpkin face and just put my own spin on it to fit the squares!
The pillow - I cut the fabric about every 1-1/2 - 2 inches, in each seam I inserted (black & orange strips, less than 1", sewn, folded & pressed) the strip. I just did one line of quilting as I flipped part of the strip to the other side. Hope that's clear...let me know if you need more info. Have fun! That pattern style with the inset was pretty popular a number of years ago - can't think of what it was called.

Love all this Halloween stuff. I adore Halloween. KK it did not stretch. The backing is cotton and the flannel itself is a good grade, not the thinner kind. The wool is some I repurposed from wool clothing bought at goodwill and washed and dried. Some I used as is and some I dyed. Over half of the wool is from my favorite LQS where the owner dyes her own wools. Fabulous selection.

Jokir, how wonderful to have access to such things, I live in a small podunk "town"(big stretch of the word), have to travel 54 miles to Eugene to get anything decent. We do have a small fabric store in Florence, but the owner and I have very different tastes.
