    Good idea to post this thread. Using up big scraps is good too. On one of my quilt backers, the store only had so much of a particular fabric that was perfect. I had to improvise for the rest. . .

    What a great thread!! Glad to see it up and running again. I make nearly all my backs pieced - I have a lot of remnants I pick up for that sort of thing, plus the scraps from the project, of course. Also like the "two for the price of one" concept - Fun to have both sides be simply wonderful!

    Here's my latest finish. The front was a kit from Connecting Threads. I had a bunch of the main fabric I used for the back that "kinda sorta" coordinated, but of course not enough for the entire backing (of course!) so I had to improvise.
