    Ah, yes.....learning to hand quilt on top of everything else that is on the waiting list. How does one successfully hand stitch when one is on the floor twitching like crazy?

    Think of the interesting patterns you'd make! LOL

    I always thought I would learn hand quilting one day, purely to be able to say I can do it. But I figured the machine would always win for the speed factor.

    Now, having completed this, I am REALLY missing having hand work to do at night while watching tv with hubby. I'm off today to get fabrics for the next hand work project.

    that settles it then, while you are getting the fabric, pick yourself up a lap hoop and some quilting betweens and give it a shot. You will know after a few stitches if you want to keep at it or chuck it for the machine.
