    I love the kitties.....
But THANK YOU for the head lamp idea.... my sewing maching light has a short in it and blows lamps out within secs. after replacing it. I've tried putting a regular flexneck lamp but it doesn't shine where I need it. The head light would work perfectly.

Well... it's Sunday night here, which means it's the end of the week, and not only do I have all the blocks done as promised, I have the top put together!!

Today was the running of the biggest car race of the year down this end of the planet, Bathurst 1000 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bathurst_1000 )
So I moved all my sewing stuff into the lounge and sewed in front of the television all day. I could get used to that! lol

All done by needleturn (hand applique)

Now to quilt it.... I have NO idea how to do that. I did hand applique because I wanted the dimensional look, I want the cats sticking out. So I can't very well go and quilt them can I.

I figure small stippling around them, but apart from that I got nothing. Any suggestions welcome!

So I'm not the only one who worked on a quilt while watching the Bathurst 1000 . My DH doesn't understand my multi tasking.

    Blue,
Your quilt is stunning. I love it and if you ever decide that you don't want it, please send it to me. You have my address. I know your work is awesome for I have your September doll quilt. I have showed it to several of my friends, and they were all in awe looking at it.
