 I figure it's his quilt he can choose whatever he wants...
He's been working on closing in a room out in the shop building so he can have an air conditioned room to work in... I keep telling him that if he takes OUT the scroll saw and puts in a carpet it would be perfect for a LONGARM.. (like a Gracie, etc)....
I think that would be PERFECT - I make quilts and he does the quilting...
sounds good to me!!

Nice stuff - I thought your DH did a good job picking out fabrics.
a FYI - cotton flannel generally SHRINKS - a LOT! At least the stuff from a few years back did.
So, if you want the finished quilt to be flat, wash the flannel in HOT water before putting it in the quilt.
You might have to press it before using it.
It's been a while since I've used flannel for anything, so maybe the new ones behave better.

Janeen, After rereading what I wrote earlier, It sounded bad I didnt mean to imply that it was ugly fabric, what I meant was more on the lines of this, I think about making DH a quilt and get a picture in my head and then he goes and picks out something totally different and it just blows my idea out of whack and have to start all over on the planning.
I think your DH did a good job of picking his focal fabric and coordinating fabrics!
Sorry if the earlier post sounded rude!
