    Looks like a fun thing to do, but how do those folded parts hold up on a bed quilt....being that they are not secured to background......but still cute!

    I too was wondering about the star points?? They will get chopped off when the blocks are joined. Is that part of the look. I would love to see how this looks in a quilt.

    There is a youtube video of the technique. I don't remember the name. Wonderful idea. Thank you for the reminder.

    the folded areas suggest quilting lines...
