    I recently taught a darling 10 year old to quilt by making Project Linus blankets. When showing her how to do the binding (which I do all by machine) I told her that sometimes quilters don't like to do the binding. Before I could even explain that we'd do it the quick and easy machine way, she replied, "Oh, no, they should LOVE doing the binding because it means you're almost finished and can start your next quilt!" Out of the mouths of babes....
